Chocolate Cafe in Indianapolis

I love coming in here and buying ice cream for me and the kids! I always get 1 cup for them to share because it is a big scoop! Definitely come in for ice cream on the off season, short or hardly any lines!

Yummy yummy the ice cream went in my tummy. The grasshopper was great. It was a nice finishing touch after a great dinner on the town. Awesome decor and excellent staff. Recommend others to come and see this place. Nice relaxing place to enjoy a sweet treat with somebody.

Staff is always kind and helpful. Great ice cream, awesome location and outside seating. Just slightly expensive for what you get but my daughter loves it so we visit weekly.

Great icecream with amazing varieties. Lot of gifting options as well. Something to take back home from Indianapolis.

Customer service NOT GOOD! Every time I come they are out of something. I’ll just stop coming and stick to Godivas for now on their customer service is always great and if they do run out of something they at least let me know when they will be restocked!👿

My husband and I LOVE this place!! Fantastic coffee. We always stop in for a beverage and purchase whole bean coffee to take home. They're selection of sugar free candy is also wonderful.

Great staff, cool spot. We stopped in after dinner and got some ice cream. They have some unique flavors. I got the orange creamsicle and it tasted just like an orange creamsicle. The ice cream also comes with a huge chocolate malted ball. It was actually a little too big.I would definitely come back.

Despite it being very busy (it was the day before Christmas on a beautiful evening), the staff handled it politely and professionally, even with the rush on hot chocolates! A gentleman in line asked me if they sold their hot chocolate mix and I replied, I don't think so...they make it from actual chocolate. Truly the best hot chocolate in town. All flavors are equally delicious, dark, white, regular, peppermint, cherry, etc. A family tradition for over 20 years!

I went with my family to this place and I wanted to have desert for all of us, but because of the rude employee, I only ordered ice cream for my little son. This employee was looking down at us and she treated us very bad.I won’t be back to this place just because of that lady’s behavior

The display of chocolates was amazing. We had frozen yogurt and it was very good.

It's a fun little chocolate shop that is located in the heart of Indy. They have all sorts of confectionery items and would recommend heading in for some pastry and coffee. There is also a huge stuffed bear at the entrance to the store that you can take pictures with. Chocolate is good and lots to choose from.

The products are great, but the service is seriously lacking. My coworkers and I went in for a late afternoon snack to celebrate a birthday, but were chastised for sampling the ice cream, and treated like we were a burden on their day. We all ordered small cups (2scoops) and those of us who sampled the limit of 2 flavors, were only given 1 scoop. When we asked the employees why we only received 1 while others received 2, we were told “well you had samples so you only get 1 scoop!” The experience was not worth the money spent.

I love chocolate! I seek it out wherever I go. This is most likely the worst I've ever had. I tasted (free sample) a malted milk ball. It wasn't good. While this should have been a good indication, lots of places don't have good m.m. balls. I got a couple of different chocolates. The picture is a orange cream. NOT very creamy. Stale, and that's a compliment! Very dry and not even a good orange flavor. I don't know why this place has a good rating! Going back to the malted milk balls...if you're ever in the airport, go to Natalie's near the American gates. Best malted milk balls I've had in a long time! This place is waaaaay overpriced! I seriously wouldn't eat the chocolate candy if it was free! I'm only here until 5 am in the morning. If I was going to be here long enough, I'd go ask for a refund. The candy is literally going into the trash.

When In downtown indy you gotta stop by to get a peice of cake and ice cream. They also have many of other temptations as well.

We love South Bend Chocolate! Everything is good. Literally everything. If you haven't been you can try anything and be impressed. Definitely get the hot chocolate and cherry cordials. Highly highly recommend!!

Friendly staff and a huge selection of chocolates, ice cream, and chocolate themed drinks. Chocolate fans would be pleased.

Best hot chocolate I've ever had!! We go every year on Christmas Eve to see the downtown lights and get a hot chocolate. Its become one of our family traditions. Highly recommend!!

Place is busy... the chocolate is awesome, and the coffee and hot chocolate is better. We really enjoyed our visit here!!

My husband and I stopped in today and had a first rate experience. We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Alex. It was truly a pleasure meeting you Alex. I have always been a Godiva dark chocolate kinda girl, but not anymore. I am now a South Bend Chocolate Company kinda girl.Unfortunately we head back to Orlando first thing in the morning with only memories of the best chocolate company EVER!

Ice cream is always welcomed in my life. So many flavors, it was hard to choose. I was allowed to get two different flavors in one small. Totally worth the price ($4). Great views located in monument circle and there's a giant bear in the store 🐻. 🍴 Size small w/ half chocolate toffee & half apple crisp

Horrible, cold and no flavor coffee. We ask for a cappuchino that taste like dirty water. When we asked the barista for a little more coffee her response was the cost for another shot of coffee is $1,30.

Have gone in here to get ice cream multiple times. Always good and the size of the cones given are always more than expected. It is also connected to a frozen yogurt place so you have options.

The best place to get warm with a hot coco while looking at lights. Right on the circle.

A great place for a sweet fix in the center of town. Gets really packed as the night goes on. If you want to stop with your family, I recommend later afternoon.

Went on Xmas Eve. Super long line, which is fine. But the clerk kept yelling at people for opening the door. (We had a 60 degree Xmas here, so it wasn't even cold). He was complaining the entire time about not having a coat (again, something that seems on oversite on his part). I figured it was just a bad day for him. We returned on the 26th of December, zero line, zero wait. Same clerk was still there, and was complaining about something else to one of other workers. Maybe I just caught the same guy on two seperate bad days, but he needs to realize that he's representing a company, and needs to at least try.

I really enjoyed the chocolate fondue... They didn't have a great variety of dipping fruit but what they had was good quality

One of the best ice cream places I have been through in the US . Love their chocolate mocha flavor . Staff is friendly and nice and I feel their ice creams are worth very single penny you spend for them 😋

A young woman that works here was running around helping tons of customers and she was still super friendly and helpful. She explained some of the different chocolates and the different coffee roasts patiently while being really busy. I love chocolate and she made the experience so much better!

I stopped by to try their Mexican hot chocolate and it was delicious! Also, the customer service I received was outstanding. Good customer service is important to me and Alex represented the company perfectly! Alex extremely nice as soon as I walked in and was able to get me my hot chocolate quickly.

I tasted a couple of the ice creams: pretty good. I settled on the raspberry eruption cheesecake and coffee. Excellent.

We love coming here for a slice of cheesecake or a fondue for two! It's a nice place to sit with a fresh cup of coffee, too.

Great ice cream! The staff was very helpful and friendly. We stopped in for a late night treat and were not disappointed. Great location. I will being going back to try some of their other goodies. Prices were reasonable for the location. No complaints here.

If ur open until 12A u should be able to order anything on the menu and that’s not the case! We couldn't get coffee or hot chocolate and the staff is extremely rude. Definitely won’t be back!!

I went to college in south bend so I developed a taste for this place at an early age.When I moved to Indy I was so glad to learn that this was located on the circle.I’ll be honest that I usually only come here when it’s cold, I know they have awesome ice cream but I’m just a big fan of the hot chocolate, and looking at the lights on the circle. Service is always quick, and the store is always clean, the classic bear is always decorated for the season, the displays are set up in a way that just makes you want to shop! There is a separate little room off to the side that people can sit in as well.I noticed that there is a frozen yogurt place attached, I’ll have to head back and check that out.My go to drink here is the Mexican hot chocolate, it’s chocolatey spicy goodness and prefect for cold weather!

This place used to be our favorite...went today and was disappointed. They were out of hot fudge and the ice cream was not as good.

Not very great service when I went (might have been a rough day for the cashier?) but the hot chocolate was BOMB. I recommend the cherry jubilee- hands down the best. If I end up downtown again anytime soon, I’ll definitely be stopping by for another!

Love, love, love this place. But I love them even more when they have SUPERMAN ice cream, since this is really the only place where I can find it.

Ordered hot chocolate to go, nothing special, they put a cream on top of the drink.

It wasn't what I expected but I liked this place. It is not a place to go and grab like a breakfast sandwich or any type of food as such, but it does sell coffee, soda, juice, and a huge variety of pretzels, chocolates, and other sweets. So if you are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth this place is one to stop by.

Best ice cream, candy also fudge and all their treats our delicious especially their coffee is exceptional we love the South bend chocolate company we had an amazing time love their products!

I went in today and asked for a latte and I honestly have to say that if that you add enough sugar and cream it'll taste like McDonald coffee not that it's any good either, the latte was piping hot but it had no flavor, it was bitter a little chalky and tasted old. The atmosphere was decent and Christmassy. If you want a good coffee try out BEEs coffee.

Their ice cream is great on a hot summer day, or if it is cold out try their hot chocolates. I really like their salted caramels and malted milk balls
